It's obvious that women's wear designer Julian Louie was moved my shapes and their power for his Spring/Summer 2009 collection. My initial though for this collection was to immediately say that it was art [not fashion] and nothing more. However, after really taking heed to the shapes he utilized and they way he used them, I then retracted my words and thought that Louise a genius in disguise. I really appreciate extra frills paired with the palette and [again] the shapes. Of course the "hidden" embellishments are a brilliant touch to what has already happening to the silhouettes. It gives a new flavor to confusion.
