MATERIAL LOVE

Show me you LOVE me like this! No need to wait for Valentines day!
This season Ive been separately loving patent leather and monogram. Which would usually be a crime in my book. Yet, Gucci has revamped their "Boston" bag and created a beautiful nightmare! I dare you to love me!

I'm a "G" !!!

Kraven, Seneca and I are all die hard Gucci fans as it seems that are always on the proper track to dressing a successful gentleman. For their Spring 2010 collection, the man definitely seems happier about his wardrobe this season and who wouldn't !?

Bags for everyone

Don't Turn Around.

Once again, I can depend on Gucci to make me happy with their footwear. Sleek. Classic. I can wear it with anything I choose. Ain't that proper treatment?!

Lost, Now Found!

There always seems to be a party going down at the Gucci camp season after season. There new Fall/Winter 2009 campaign is clearly the only place to be come this November. I now see why my Style Guru, Kraven is so mad about Gucci.

They're just too cool

Gucci for the Globe

As I was perusing the Gucci website searching for my next bag purchase (I ended up getting a large tote from the Gucci Cruise '09 men's collection from Bergdorf Goodman instead - Maybe I'll blog it once it arrives) I discovered this:

In honor of the HOME film, Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini, has designed this special, limited edition T-shirt.  The design features the official HOME logo with the Iconic Gucci "GG" symbol.  The back includes the name of each country featured in the film.  A white canvas bag with the HOME logo accompanies the T-shirt.  All profits from the sell of the T-shirt will be donated to Goodplanet.org.  Extending the message of sustainability, the T-shirt was designed using 100% white organic cotton and natural dyes with recyclable packaging. It's available in unisex sizes and it's only $195.  Get yours before they're gone.

Spank Me If Im Wrong!

I keep having naughty, kinky Dreams about the Gucci "Iman" platform sandals. I wonder if Frida Giannini was inspired by Chanel Iman's modelesque body when designing this 4.1" inch heels. $1295 is the price and I need these in my life.

Heart Written

Was I the only one that thought the new Gucci Ads with Rihanna were a little dry?
Don't get me wrong, she's definitely grown on me as an artist as well as a style icon. but i was expecting soooo much more from Gucci.

Theres nothing more disappointing than a gorgeous woman of color with full potential to be my new obsession , stretching out in what seems to be a gigantic hoop earing wearing a boring white bathing suit, and being swallowed by a 3rd grader's school bag.

What's even more irritating is that the ad campaigns are supposed to BENEFIT UNICEF. (lol) The proceeds are reportedly going towards the towards improving the lives of children in sub-Saharan Africa. ... I'm not sure if i can see the promotion being a positive one.... BUT at this point, I can only wait until the campaign is over. Till then, I'll be keeping some sort of hope alive for the kids in Africa - yet still gagging over the pages of my magazine(s)
