It's always the slouchy trouser that makes me want to do great things and as usual, Alexis Mabille never disappoints, especially with his Fall 2010 collection. Although I must say that I have a particular eye on the black blazer with the draped bow detail. Interesting, right?

Love Update: Alexis Mabile Spring 2010

Of course, with Alexis Mabille being my newest favorite obsession, i expected nothing less than to be excited with his Spring 2010 collection. The focus seemed to be on the man of his word. I'm not such a big fan of argyle, however his interpretation on how to modernize the print was pleasing. As for the sleeveless blazer? I could only IMAGINE the great things we will do with such a piece.

Although clean and tailored will always a classic image amongst gentlemen, it's time to give our thighs a break and adopt the slouch! Keep it clean dudes!

His handmade bow with the chain detail is seriously an accessory that turns your look up a few notches, whether you're rockin' flats or 7 inch heels... you're bound to feel as amazing as Victoria Beckham with this piece.

Seeing this look from Alexis Mabille's collection... I know it just wouldn't be summer without a canary yellow cardigan and a classic pair of plimsolls. There's just seomthing about a clean lined layering piece that stands as the force behind all I do when it comes to fashion.

Good News

We touched on the discovery of our new iconoclast of fashion Alexis Mabille a couple days ago... and quite frankly, I still have the bursting experience on my taste buds for him and his phenomenal work. I saw these brooches from his Spring 2009 collection and could've made babies just by looking at them. Although I really have both my eyes on the feathered one.... these will actually do (lol).

I've come to stumble on yet another great interpreter of style and fashion. Alexis Mabille is one that uses his mind for the the things that people may not fully understand just yet. Mabille's Spring 2009 collection is clearly something that is beyond what we're experiencing now in fashion. Relaxed and slouchy suiting accompanied by iconoclastic accessories such this feathered bow-tie brooch that is driving me up the wall (in the best way possible).  I'm still search for his men's wear collection in it's entirety.. but when I do find it.. you'll know where to find it first.
