Love Update: Raphael Young

Raphael Young has become the latest shoes guru on my list and I can appreciate just about everthing he produces. His Fall 2010 collection is said to be inspired by Star Wars, which to me, says a lot since I wanted to be the captain to one of those ships. Put that under your belt!

I Can't Deny It!

I may not be a crazy, die-hard fan for the flip-flop since commoners resort to that form of footwear with EVERYTHING IN THEIR CLOSET.... but this here sandal-boot by my new love, Raphael Young, definitely gets my respects. What makes me even happier, is that the dude indulges his talents with men's wear too! I always knew God loved me.

Everything I Have

I came across Seoulian born shoe designer, Raphael Young and his work while browsing one of my daily reads, Favored Fashion Fix  a couple days ago and of course being the reader that I am, I couldn't help but research him and his story after I'd gotten so excited. Granted, I get excited for a lot of things, however Young truly deserves this sort of reaction. From all the incredibly made shoes I'd seen, these strong geometrical sandals that are clearly suitable for the spring. I can appreciate the standing fact that Young refuses to follow leading trends  and create  his own as his work evidently speaks volumes. I dig! I dig!
