So I know this is a fashion and design blog we got going here but this post is mostly (well completely) about the models. Just look at em. I guess this post could be considered a "design" post because those faces were obviously designed by God. The casting directors for Givenchy FW 09 got it right.

Oh My Precious....

There is a reason why there's a certain yearning amongst today's gentlemen to own a great variety of "the essentials". Of course by that, I mean the accessories that would be equivalent to a woman's jewelry closet.... they have their earrings and their bracelets while we simply have our tie-clips, rings, and the well-needed watch. Givenchy's gold hard core rings are nothing less than the edge we crave for on a daily basis [as stewards of new style] . I imagine them to be inspired by icons like the regular baa-ass

I always get majorly excited to see Givenchy's new collection off accessories as he manages to maintain his fresh take on one's style of living. His insanely made high-tops scream " BUY ME! " and "TAKE MY PICTURE!" As much as I love a gold pair of kicks... the black one's will play with me till death!

Do It For The Rich!

If I was ever given the chance to take a glimpse into the future, just for the experience, I'd take the opportunity by the reigns and hold on tight! This is solely why so many people attend fashion weeks across the globe.... for the exclusive feeling of seeing what will be coming their way. Seeing Givenchy's Winter 2010 accessory collection was nothing short of exhilarating. As of late, I've been getting a bit restless with the image of men's wear since it now seems to be so redundant and excessive. So of course, when something new and shocking comes along, I just can't get blamed when something like an erection occurs. I know I speak much about something called "statement footwear" because it can be such a vital item in one's wardrobe and Givenchy has definitely hit me with what I seem to have been hungry for this season. The sad thing... Is I'm going to have to wait a while to actually get them into my closet!
