[Bite Me] Etro Duffle Bag

As of late, it may seem like I've just been into animal skin (mainly
snakeskins)... and maybe I've just become an active advocate for a luxe
lifestyle. I checked out En Advance, one of my favorite boutiques in
the Design District and reunited with the Etro Snakeskin Duffle Bag
(instant drool) that I saw a couple months ago. All I can really say at
this point, I'm gonna be saving up for it ($1,500).

When I was younger, I always believed that after having one of the "freshmakers" I'd have a brilliant idea and save the day doing something fantastic. When Beauty Rears It's Ugly Face....

Everyone knows that for the past two weeks or more, the big topic of the moment is the whole Chris Brown/Rihanna situation.. Now, here's another blow to the head (no puns intended).

First off, I would like to say, this cover is BEYOND BEAUTIFUL, but WHY?? Why must they give her a People Cover, over such an UGLY, and HURTFUL topic?? The picture in itself looks depressing..but yet it's so inticing, and tantalizing..

BUT....also, it's kinda weird to be printing such a GIGANTIC and CONTROVERSIAL topic, when there is not even one lick of concrete evidence confirmed yet. Of course there is Chri's' EPIC FAIL of a statement. But come on now, "ARGUMENTS, JEALOUSY, AND HOTEL-ROOM TRASHING"? Hmmmm......

Black; Still Beautiful!

After hearing so much about the "Black Out" in the fashion industry from moguls like BethAnn, P.Diddy, & Susan Taylor, word has it that a new monthly magazine which would be published by Nigerian newspaper ThisDay, will be arriving in style during New York Fashion Week. Arise (the magazine), will dedicate its power to the achievements in African fashion, music, & culture.

So as if I wasn't excited enough about an african fashion magazine... Naomi Campbell, Liya Kebede, & Alek Wek destroys the cover of their first issue! I can't even wait to see what the editorials will look like.

Some of you may think you're die hard fashionistas and style moguls. But until you know what your designers know and love... then don't bother trying to make your footprint. The Fashion Questionnaire book features an introduction by journalist Michael Specter and 23 answered questionnaires from fashion's most applauded designers. Read hand-written responses from icons like Roberto Cavalli, Carolina Herrera, and Michael Kors. The book comes with blank tests so you and your friends can answer important questions like: Are you more Nicole Miller or Oscar de la Renta?

I personally think this would be great book to have a parties. I wouldn't mind setting that on the coffee table. (lol) But your book here.

When you see collections like Catherine Holstein's Fall 2009, you can't help but to ask yourself "wouldn't that be a great addition to my wardrobe?" Now, of course, I didn't ask myself that question, but it sure felt good to think about seeing it in true life (lol).

Never Snort Your Coke

For the 2009 fashion week, Manolo Blahnik has collaborated with Coca Cola once again. The result is a new sole for the iconic coke bottle, which is decorated with Manolo’s shoe illustrations. The design is available in a limited edition bottle and only 10,000 pieces are being made. And since I don't drink coke... this would be a great reason to start.

Could it be that this Superheadz Blakbird Fly camera is the coolest gizmo a photographer could own?! The Blackbird, fly is a twin-lens reflex camera: one lens is used to expose the film, while the other is used like a viewfinder. It is a famous style of camera whose history stretches back to the 1920s. The EGo Has Landed!!

In the wake of my first post on Justin receiving such a coveted award..I have come to find that Kanye has graced the cover of Details magazine. Very nice indeed. This is what I call the #1 Most Stylish Man in America. Not saying, I'm calling KANYE #1, but the cover speaks for itself. And just check out his shenanigans lately.. Soooo FASHION FORWARD. And let's not forget this quote from the mag:

"Put this in the magazine: There’s nothing more to be said about music. I’m the fucking end-all, be-all of music. I know what I’m doing. I did 808s in three weeks. I got it.
